TKM FOR 1/30: CH 7-9

So far in chapter 7 Scout and Jem find two bars of carved soap that look like them. Scout, I believe called it “hoodoo-ism.” They are planning to leave two letters for the person that are leaving the items. So far everything is looking good until Mr. Radley fills up the hole with cement. He said the “tree was dying, so you fill it with cement” as if that actually works. The next part in a series of unfortunate events is that Miss Maudie’s’ House burns down, but yet she is happy and it does not get the best of her.
